What does it cost to claim my profile?
Nothing. Claiming, listing your capabilities, and receiving qualified RFQs are all free. There is no subscription and no per-seat license. Virtual Hangar earns on transactions in the marketplace, not on software fees.
Who is allowed to claim a repair station profile?
Someone authorized to speak for the certificate holder, typically the accountable manager, a director of maintenance, or an owner. We verify the FAA certificate and your authority before the profile changes hands.
The FAA record has details about my shop that are out of date. Can I fix it?
On your VHMX profile, yes. Claim it and you control the name, description, contact, capabilities, and specialties buyers see. We continue to show the underlying FAA record for transparency, but corrections to the FAA dataset itself have to go through the FAA.
I sell parts but I am not a repair station. Can I have a profile?
Yes. Parts distributors, component and accessory shops, avionics specialists, mobile mechanics, and MRO service providers can all create a profile. There is no public dataset to build those from, so yours starts when you create it and goes through the same verification.
I own or operate aircraft. Do I need a profile?
No. Profiles are for the supply side. Owners, operators, and flight departments are verified directly by our team when you request access, and then you work with a controller or parts specialist. There is nothing for you to claim here.
