What records can you scan?
Airframe, engine, and propeller logbooks, plus the paper that lives around them: component records, 8130-3 tags, 337s and STC paperwork, weight and balance records, AD compliance lists, and old work orders.
How are my original logbooks handled?
Carefully, and on a plan you agree to before anything moves. We confirm how the books are collected, how they are handled while they are scanned, and when they come back. The originals are returned complete and in order.
Does a digital copy replace my paper logbooks?
No. Keep your originals. For most owners the paper stays the record of reference. Lineage is the protected copy that survives if the paper does not, and the fastest way to find anything in it.
Do I have to use the Lineage library?
No. Scanning stands on its own, and you receive the complete digital set either way. The library on the owner portal is an optional add-on for owners who want their records searchable and kept current.
How does the AI search work?
Handwritten and typed entries are converted to text, then linked in a graph to the parts, inspections, ADs, and shops they mention. When you ask a question, the answer comes back with the scanned page it was drawn from, so you can always check it against the original.
Who can see my records?
You, and the people you choose. Your records are never visible to other customers. You can give a buyer, inspector, lender, or shop access to exactly what they need, and take it back when they are done.
What does it cost?
Scanning is quoted up front from the size of your records. The Lineage library is optional and priced separately. You will know both numbers before anything moves.
How long does it take?
It depends on how many volumes and loose records there are. You get a turnaround date with your quote, and we work to keep the time your originals are away as short as possible.
